How to still make it a surprise!

I have been posting a little bit of our story, two years already ttc with pcos and nothing so far but this month we had our first IUI and even though his count wasn’t great and we only had one big follicle, we are feeling very positive and very hopeful that it’ll work! I mean we only need one egg and one swimmer right?!

So, we only are 4 days after the iui and I go Oct 4th for the pregnancy test, he normally requests the day off to go to all of our appointments but I don’t know how to do it so that I can still surprise him if it’s positive, I have my appointment at 7:45 in the morning but they’ll call me with the results in the afternoon so, even though I really want him to come with me, I am thinking maybe he shouldn’t and I’ll surprise him when he comes back from work but at the same time if it is negative I want us to be together... so complicated this way haha!

So what do you guys think? What would you do?
