** Trigger warning **

I was in a very abusive relationship when I was 19-21, and I'm now married to a fantastic man who is supportive of me. The man who was abusive toward me (let's call him Mark), is moving on to be a psychiatrist which I find sick.

When we were together I was trapped, and manipulated into feeling worthless. He would perform sexual acts on me that I found painful and degrading even if I begged him not to. When we finally broke up, he stalked me, would show up at my new apartment, threatened me physically, threatened to sue me, let himself into my parents house when I was staying with them for my safety, and let himself into my apartment when I was too drunk to lock it and took advantage of me. He was showing up at my job and giving me flowers, calmly forcing me to get into his car, and sending me pics of engagement rings... I didnt tell anyone about the sexual abuse, but my grandparents told me to get the police involved because they were afraid for my life. I chose not to get a restraining order or no contact order (stupidly), but the police went to his home and told him if he continued they would arrest him for harrassment.

I've not heard from him, but I see him occasionally at events in town(small area and we have similar hobbies). He will come talk to the people around me to make me uncomfortable but never to me. Now, I found out that he is going to school for Psychology. Its sick and wrong... I dont know what to do... do I say something, open up a huge mess that's 4 years old, or do I leave it?
