Breastfeeding?

I have a Nipple piercing and of course I’m going to take it out when I’m pregnant but I was wondering if having It pierced in the first place could affect breastfeeding?

Weirdly I took mine out years ago maybe 10  years... the reason I thought I was pregnant originally was because there was white stuff coming out where my piercings used to be. And now that I’m breastfeeding milk occasionally comes out of the holes. I guess they just healed weird! But we fed/eat just fine!

Nope, took mine out just before I got pregnant and they closed pretty quickly. Breastfeeding is going just fine! I can see the little scars where the holes used to be and occasionally it feels sore if he latches right on them but I just adjust and it’s fine.

I had them prior to pregnancy and took them out after I was 12 weeks. I’ve read that i should still be able to breastfeed. My concern is that they were kinda pierced deep so don’t know if it will make a difference. I’m not due until January so we shall see.
