Should I meet with my ex's uncle to talk?

So this title probably sounds SO weird, it's a hard dynamic to explain. My boyfriend just broke up with me on Saturday after almost 5 years because he didn't feel the same way anymore and it completely blindsided me. I'm obviously really upset and shocked and don't know what to feel. Since it was such a long time I did form relationships with his family obviously, I texted his mom and uncle separately to thank them both for always being so kind to me and just leave things on good terms. They were both extremely nice and his uncle is SUPER cool (acts like he's 20 when he's 50+ lol) and told me that I could come over any time and that he's here for me if I need anything. I know that sounds so weird but hes a super nice no bullshit kinda guy, he also runs a lot of AA-type group things so he's always looking to help people. I'm so tempted to meet and talk with him because it would be nice to talk to someone who knows my exboyfriend in the same way (or even more) than I do but I'm afraid my ex boyfriend would find out and either get angry/creeped out or what. His uncle has known me since I was 16 and I'm almost 20 now. Is this a bad idea or should I take him up on it?
