When’s a good time to start Nursery?

I am currently 20 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first babe and it’s a girl!! 🎀🎀 
I currently only have a few outfits, a teddy bear and 1 pair of tiny baby shoes... when’s a good time to start getting the bigger baby gear?!

Now is fine, later is fine. Whenever you want to!! I find it easier to do it earlier so I’m not as tired and when everything is all organized it just put me more at ease. When you start nesting, you will know!!

Now! After your baby shower you will be so overwhelmed with stuff it's much easier to organize when you e already decided how to have things set up. It's never too early!

We got a lot of hand me downs from my sister. So, we have quite a bit. Planning on putting the crib together this weekend. The nursery and baby shower are going to have the same theme, that way we can use the decor for the room after the baby shower :) our theme is “our greatest adventure.” I am 21 weeks today and dying to get everything together. Already did two registries. I’m having early baby showers, too.

We have started to get decor but we are going to be moving in nov/dec 😭😭😭 I already feel like I should be nesting and hate that I’ll be moving at 8 months pregnant

Honestly, do it while you have the energy. I always leave it for 30+ weeks and always regret it because I run out of energy and I start hurting all over. I'd leave buying big stuff other than the crib until after the baby shower though but you can never have too many clothes.

I’m 18 weeks and we’ve started the nursery already. We’re starting with painting and I ordered curtains and a rug. I also knew that I wanted a daybed in the nursery so I ordered that. We registered for the crib and changing table so we’ll wait until after the shower to get those things.

I’m trying to wait patiently until after the shower to buy most of my stuff. That way I can get the 15% discounts from my registries. I feel like if I’m going to buy it, might as well get a deal. 
But I know we are doing a travel themed nursery (not finding out gender) so I have painted, got a bug map, and clocks for a time zone wall so far. We also are getting a crib from IKEA (not registering there) and my mom’s old rocking chair, so I’ll put those things in the room before the shower. We got a changing table/dresser my grandpa made before we were even pregnant and that was the first thing in there. 
But it is kind of fun to add something small every two weeks or so!

I’m 18 weeks and we started this past weekend.  We painted the room.  My parents are buying our crib and crib mattress which is on its way here so we will have that already.  The only thing I will get soon (within the next couple months) is my rocking recliner.  The one I want has to be ordered in store so we decided we would purchase it ourselves.  I have a bunch of clothes and shoes because I couldn’t help myself, and I’ve got a small stock of different kinds of diapers and wipes to try out each brand to see which I like before buying in bulk.  Everything on my registry I will wait to buy after I see what I don’t get at my shower.
