I found private messages between my husband and a coworker. She was flirting with him, but he wasn’t flirting back. But he also didn’t ask her to stop. I understand it could be worse, but I am extremely heartbroken over this. Should I be upset?

How were the messages private? Like secret messages on Facebook? If she was flirting he should have cut the conversation immediately. Theres a reason he is entertaining her imo and I would be mad.

Years ago I had my realtor flirting with me, I don’t know if he was for sure but I was put off by the convo and did not respond. It is possible he was being overly friendly, come to find out 5 years later that he is cheating on his wife, I found out through my friend who is a realtor as well. 
Just to give you a different perspective, I never told my husband because I didn’t want him to think it was a problem when it’s not.

It is perfectly ok to be upset by this.  That is your man and anyone that acts that way to him is not only disrespectful to you but also to your relationship.  I would talk to him and let him know how you feel and maybe ask why he didn’t shut it down. Maybe it’s because it would make it awkward at work if he confronted it and it’s easier for him to just ignore it or pretend he doesn’t notice to keep the peace at work.  Maybe he truly didn’t notice and you bringing it up will help him recognize what she is doing and make him more aware of how she acts around him and bring his guard up. Definitely talk about it.
