What did you get your september baby for 2nd birthday?🎉🎁

My son’s birthday is in two days and I dont know what to get him. My husband is considering a tablet but im not sure. What would be a good birthday gift for a 2 year old? And if your LO has a tablet which one is a good one?

We started to dial back on the tablet thing. She would get on YouTube kids and it was like a complete zone out and she would pitch a fit if she couldn’t use it or if we had to take it away. And we have never let her use it at restaurants. Just our rule we wanted to make and keep from the start. It’s been about a month now and maybe once or twice a week she is allowed to be on it but she doesn’t pitch a fit and barely asks for it. Plus we are having another baby in December and I was worried I’d start to rely on it too much as a babysitter. So for her birthday we got her a power operated Jeep, it comes with a parent remote so we do the driving until she learns how and she loves it. Also got her a doctor kit and an aqua mat which is awesome!

We didn’t really do gifts. We let grandparents and aunts get her gifts. Instead we took her to the zoo and going to an indoor water park resort for two days next week. She has anything she could ever want, so we decided to give her experiences.

We got our daughter a bike and we are taking her to Disney on Ice. I personally wouldn’t get a tablet because I just feel like it’s asking for them to have more screen time.

We only got our girl a pair of nike shoes and a book and a set of wooden kitchen food toys.. Because she didn't really need anything she already has a lot of toys and clothes and stuff.. But we had a small dinner and our family got her a couple leapfrog toys, clothes, and a Melissa and Doug metal shopping cart... She still prefers her reading books and coloring books over toys though lol

My dad got my two year old a tablet (the kids amazon kindle fire) which she loves but I would have preferred the IPad only cause you can lock them out of more things, but we just took her to the store and let her pick out what she wanted which was  play do, kenctic sand and new blanket

My son got a vacuum and a leapfrog laptop, and he loves them. He just got a late birthday gift card and we’re going to let him get this piano he plays with every single time we go to Target. He’s obsessed with instruments.
