Potassium pill given in the hospital
I've been in the hospital the past two days for dehydration from nausea and vomiting. They gave me a potassium pill. The thing is HUGE. I've taken large pills before but the idea of that fitting down anyone's throat, a sick pregnant woman's throat especially, astonishes me.
We had it cut in half and even after that, I couldn't swallow it. With the second half, we crushed it and I ate it with jello. Not a super fun experience. Anyone else experience having to take that?
