Screaming tired!

Anyone’s baby scream bloody murder when they are tired? My daughter is 3 months and lately every single night she screams her head off for hours when it’s bedtime. Last night she fell asleep in my arms around 8:00. Around 8:30 I transferred her to the bassinet and she woke up. She screamed no matter what we did. Rocked her, held her, tried to nurse her, carried her, tried to let her cry it out alone.. finally she worked herself up enough that she wanted to nurse and passed out around 10:30. Just did it again when I ran to town. Screamed the whole way to town, the whole way back, while I put groceries away. I tried to feed her but she didn’t want it. I put her in her swing because I was about to have a breakdown and she screamed until I picked her up and then she passed out. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m so emotionally exhausted. She never lets me sit her down for very long during the day so when she goes down for the night, that’s my only time to myself and lately I haven’t gotten that time. It’s taking a toll on my patience during the day. Doctor just recommended letting her cry it out. Although I don’t believe in that, I’ve tried a few times since I’m out of options. Not only does she not stop screaming no matter how long I leave her, but she works herself up so bad that she throws up. My husband thinks she is in pain or something but most of the time when I pick her up she stops.
