Midwives Brew

Has anyone tried midwives brew to induce labor before? I'm pregnant with my 4th and I am 38 weeks and 2 days. I wanna drink the brew when I am 39 weeks this upcoming Tuesday. I am dilated and effaced already and I'm pretty sure I'm losing my mucus plug after a pretty big chunk I wiped away from last nights bathroom break and I'm still losing parts of my plug today. If you've tried this in the past I would love to hear your experience with it.
