Becoming a birth/post partum doula and lactation educator!!?

I have serious interest in becoming a birthing doula and post partum doula. And possibly a lactation educator. I am located in California. Can anyone give me info on where to start?? Any info at all would be appreciated actually. Best way to get certified? Any books I should read? Thanks in advance!!🙌💕

I can’t remember for the life of me what it’s called but there’s like an international umbrella group that does the certifications as well as conferences that move state to state. 
Fair warning the job is as emotionally hard as it is rewarding. A close friend is having some major depression and recently quit all together after a previous client killed herself two months post partum and also had a baby she helped breastfeed for a client drown. You definitely take your work home with you. My friend didn’t expect it to be so hard on her.
