My step mom wasn’t even this excited for her own kids babies

So my step mom obviously loves her grandkids but she is just not an affectionate person and doesn’t show when she really cares much about anything. She is in her grandkids lives but just wasn’t super excited like most moms when they find out their kids are pregnant. I’m my dads only child. She has been extremely excited about my baby since she found out I’m pregnant. As soon as she found out it is a girl (she kept telling us she wanted it to be a girl because of all the stuff she was finding) she went out of her way on her day off work and went shopping and bought shoes beanies and clothes for her. My dad said she also went to hobby lobby and picked up yarn and has started to make her a blanket. She never did any of this for my step sisters. My dad said they were in the mall (before we found out the gender) and she found some dresses she wanted to buy her and my dad told her no way in hell because they were like $200 she told me that she didn’t care what daddy said she would spend that kind of money on a dress for the baby. I even said she was insane. Lol. I’m just so happy that she is as excited for this baby as the rest of us are.
