IUD pain

So i got an iud little iver a week ago, just started to bleed. I had the worst cramping after i got it (felt heat, nausea, and as if i was going to poop myself), and now that I'm bleeding the bad cramping is back. Anyone else have this, is it normal in the first few weeks? Im reading loads of conflicting information online saying cramping within the first month is normal, and then it should have settled by 48 hours post insertion? How do you manage the pain because it literally cripples me to the point i have to lie down to be comfortable 😢 I've tried ibuprofen and a hot water bottle which eases it some but not fully. Any advice would be great
