Would it be tacky to use a name for your second baby you were gonna use for your first?

Say you were pregnant and going to name your baby either John or Sarah. You have a girl, name her Sarah, and then you’re pregnant again and it’s a boy. Would it be tacky to name that baby John or should you come up with new names?

Not weird or tacky. I'd actually be surprised if anyone thought it was. It was your first choice name for that gender. Now that you're having that gender, you pick that top name. Seems pretty self explanatory to me.

Why would that be tacky? The names you chose were meant for your first boy or first girl. You happened to have the girl first so now you can use the boys name

Not tacky at all it’s a name you like but didn’t get to use yet don’t know you or anyone you would think it’s tacky. Lots of people do this they have girl and boy names picked out and if they get pregnant again and it is a boy they use the name they liked but haven’t used yet unless something else they decide they like more at that time.
