Husband is overfeeding baby

On the weekdays I'm primarily home with little one and he eats roughly 27 to 29 ounces of formula a day. On the weekends when my husband's home he can eat anywhere between 33 and 36 oz my husband thinks every time he cries he just needs to eat. Are we over feeding him. Little one has acid reflux so it's hard to tell if he's spitting up because of that or if he's overeating except that he doesn't spit up for me . He is gaining a pound almost every 8 days and just turned 9 weeks
