Is it weird I want to adopt and never want biological kids?

My friend told me it was. It didn’t change my opinion much. I just really want to adopt instead of have biological children. Is it really that weird? If you think so, why??

I support this fully, imagine all the kids who will get a chance at life, a family, etc. A second chance.

I am the exact same way. I don’t really care if it’s weird. 
I have seen how many babies are left in hospitals and put into the system. My sister was one of them. I am more looking forward to adopting and have only now considered biological children because my so has that desire to pass on his genes I guess. I don’t really care for that.

No it's not weird! Everyone has their own path in life. There's is nothing wrong with giving a child a loving family and home. People tend to put down anything that isn't mainstream just ignore them.

It's absolutely not weird! I think it's wonderful you want to give a child a chance that they may never get without you. You'll give them shelter, a life, and love and that's what matters. You should do what you feel in your heart is best for you.

No. I've always wanted to adopt. Always. But my husband doesn't want to. He wants to have his own kids. I'm going to keep working on that though.

It’s not weird it’s very compassionate of you.  Plenty of children are in need of a loving home.  But even if you change your mind about bio kids you can still adopt.  My aunt and uncle did both and they are pretty happy.

I’ve been thinking about adopting someday for like most of my life just because me and my brother were both emergency c-sections and premies and that scarred me from ever wanting to be pregnant. And I’m 5 feet and like my mom, also have PCOS. I think adoption is great. Obviously, it’s a long process, but there are sooo many kids that need to be adopted!! I wish more people would adopt. My only issue is that my boyfriend says “if I have kids, I want them to be my own”. I guess we’ll see when we get there someday.🤷‍♀️
