So, I just want to say that this did not offend me personally. So if it does you, please explain why!

I was talking to a guy in my class, he came over from an Asian country (honestly I couldn’t spell it if I tried) to go to college here. We were talking about the differences in how people act here vs there and things like that. He said “don’t take offense, but all you white look the same to me” and I was like “really? All of us?” And he said “yeah well only if the hair color is the same” (I paraphrased his sentences a little to make them grammatically correct). And I laughed, because I know a lot of people who say the same about Asian people. I didn’t say that, though. The girl behind us spoke up and said “that’s really racist and I wish you wouldn’t talk like that about me” and he apologized and said he didn’t mean to upset anyone. She had blonde, wavy hair, blue eyes, & thin build. He looked back to me and whispered “like you two look a lot a like except hair” because my hair is dyed (idk what color it is now - reddish brown) but my hair style, eye color and build was very similar to hers. She wasn’t supposed to hear him say that but I think she did because she got very angry and left the room, when she came back (when class started) she sat elsewhere.

Would this offend you? I’ll admit, it was weird but I wouldn’t say offensive. But the other girl disagreed.
