do most women leak colostrum during pregnancy?

I had a breast reduction years ago so no idea if I’ll be able to breastfeed or not. But I’ve had zero leakage or anything resembling it. Do most women leak at some point during pregnancy? Just wondering if this is an indication that I might not be able to breastfeed.

Not everyone does. And it doesn’t determine if someone can breastfeed. I leaked early on at 20 weeks. But I didn’t breastfeed cause I didn’t get my milk in. I was happy tho, I preferred not to breastfeed.

I never did. 29 weeks with my second and haven’t this time either. I actually had an oversupply with my daughter, too.

No, leaking colostrum is no indication of your milk supply. I didn’t leak with either pregnancy and ebf both kids for over a year.

I did not leak colostrum and I ended up being a super supplier (enough to feed 3-4 ... I didn’t end up nursing long though) so I would say there’s no reason to be worried.
