So confused!

My hcg levels went from 17 , 59, 77, 114, now 167. My doctors are still trying to figure out if this is an ectopic pregnancy or not. Still can't see anything on ultrasound. Which is so confusing since with the ectopic I had years ago they could see something when my hcg was only 60. Help.
