How involved is your mom in your pregnancy?

So my mother has barely talked to me my entire pregnancy. I’m almost 39 weeks pregnant now and she still keeps her phone off half the time. She bought one cheap item off of the registry for the baby shower, which she refused to help with. Meanwhile, my MIL asks how I am every day and has bought tons of stuff for the baby. I feel so confused and hurt by my moms behavior but not sure what to do about it...

My mum seems to turn everything I say about my pregnancy onto her so i gave up. The other day I told her about my appointment and she didnt even listen, just spoke over me about how much she hates her job (that she wont leave).
Unfortunately none of my parents are interested, thankfully my partners family are.

My mum is very involved in my pregnancy, she's buying the baby things, in the process of knitting things (she is not a knitter 😂)  and she always touches my belly and talks to him and tries to make him kick for her! 
She pushes my partner and I to be very independent but also supports us at the same time. 
It's unfortunate some mums aren't as involved, maybe try speaking to her about it and ask her why she's not being as enthusiastic as you'd like and voice your concerns? 
Hopefully once your Bub is born her attitude with change!

I have to ask my mom about things for her to be involved with my pregnancy. Then if I bring up that I'm concerned about she rolls her eyes and tells me to get over it, that I'm over-reacting. My MIL passed away a year ago in February so I'm flying solo for the most part.
