I’m only 4w 6d. I did not plan on telling anyone until I was 10-12 weeks just to be safe.

Dh best friend since high school found out his wife was pregnant. She’s just 2 weeks ahead of me. I have known his wife for just a few months. They expect us to be “best friends” like them and something like that doesn’t happen over night. I do enjoy her company and think she’s a really sweet person but she’s not my best friend and I didn’t even think about telling her when I found out.

We agreed that we wouldn’t tell anyone until 10-12 weeks.

After we got the pregnancy confirmed he told his dad, step mom, sister and brother. Okay, fine it’s family so not as bad as people we don’t talk to on a regular basis but I said that was enough, nobody else.

I just don’t want to have to tell people if something happens and I hoped that he could understand that.

Today, he tells his friend, who we agreed we wouldn’t tell.

He texts me asking if I would tell his friends wife. I say no.. like I would have never thought about telling her. She may have told me before she even told her husband but that was her choice and this is mine.

So he’s making me feel bad saying I’m causing drama and saying this is great and he can’t wait to enjoy 8 more months of me being moody and mean???

Is it just me or should he feel like he’s in the wrong since he’s the one who told the person we agreed we would wait to tell.

Also his friend told his wife to text me, I’m sure to get it out of me so it’s just awkward because I am not telling her.
