Is this ok? Sons cord fell off but the aftermath?

I went to the doctor yesterday and they put a nitrogen so it can dry it up and this morning I saw the cord fell off and this is what happened? Should I call the doc or what exactly should I do ? (His body is red in the first pic, because he was crying cause I put him down)

With sites like this you’ll get mixed opinions, when it comes to your child’s health always just make them a drs appointment. I would always rather be safe than sorry.

Both of my two youngest had thhhis happen. I took them both in just to be on the safe side. Their Dr said to just wipe it down with an alcohol swab to help dry it up. And that it happens all the time. But if it were me I would take him in. Better to be safe than sorry. Could get infected very easily.

My boys looked like that, we just kept it clean, and put triple anti biotic on it
