TMI Vaginal Delivery Question!!

I had a 2nd degree internal tear when my son was born, and I don’t know if it healed correctly (I think I had stitches on that one). I’m 8 weeks pp and when I tried having sex, it was so painful we had to stop! Afterwards, in the shower I felt around up there and it feels like my tear healed open. There’s no pain normally, only when we tried to have sex. I don’t have my next check up until the 10th; has anyone had anything similar happen, or did something just go terribly wrong for me? Help!
