Depends or regular pads?

Hello ladies, so I was planning on getting depends for after baby is born. Just for night time, I figure it will be a bit more comfortable than having to use regular underwear. Just because after labor is hard not to get little accidents. Have any of you mommies used it before? Should I get it ? Let me know what you think. Any recommendations?

I preferred it simply because you don't have to worry about the pad shifting and you leak, or it shifting and now the glue sticks to you. I've never once had an accident with depends. I like them so much for pp bleeding that I now use them overnight on my period for heavy flow days!  Just go down a size, they're enormous.

I used adult diapers at night and pads during the day... I will be doing the same this time. 
I also found the adult diapers were great the first few days when I would use an ice pack because the diapers are so absorbent they soaked up any water as the ice pack melted.

Honestly everyone bleeds differently. So my opinion I’d wait till after to decide. Then you can ask your husband or whoever is with you to get what you need. Because for me I wore a nighttime big pad which was more comfortable and more necessary for the bleeding I had.

I would wait to buy them. Everyone is different. For me, I used the hospital pads while I was at the hospital and they gave me a few to go home with. We stayed in the hospital for 48 hours. By the time I made it home I wasn’t bleeding enough for those. I used the regular off brand bigger pads with wings. The depends would have been way to uncomfortable and not necessary for me.

I haven't given birth yet, but I was bleeding super heavily with my subchorionic hemorrhage a few weeks ago. I was having to change my pad and my underwear every hour because of leakage, even when I used the nighttime pads that are extra long with wings. I said screw it and bought some depends, and they were a life saver! I put my pad in there, and then I didnt have to worry about bleeding through onto my clothes, and it also supported my tummy nicely!

I hated the depends. I ended up having an Emergency C-section and they would rub on my stitches. So I used the normal pads. You never know what would happen so just keep that in mind
