Birth control options?

I really wanna find something that works for me. I would prefer something like the IUD but I heard it can cause your acne to get worse. I had acne as a teenager but it started coming back after having my first daughter two years ago I’m guessing because of hormones and I just had my son 5 weeks ago . So I’m worried my face will just break out horrible. Thoughts ? Suggestions on something that might help my acne ?

I'm opting for the copper coil as I don't do well with hormone based contraceptives.  I believe they can cause spotting and heavier, more painful periods though so worth knowing if you suffered prior.

In the past I had the implant in my arm twice and I'll be getting it again. Lasts 3 years. I think it's brilliant.

All hormonal birth controls will have a possibility of making your acne worse. If you want an IUD but need a hormone free one (for breastfeeding or personal preference) you should look up the copper IUD and reaf the side effects to see if it would still be something you would be interested in. As for the acne already present you can try a lot of different products, changing your diet, ect. If all else fails you can talk to a dermatologist
