How many of you noticed a regular cycle with the hormonal IUD?

So I have had the skylena IUD for a year & half now (it's a 3 year iud). In the last I'd say about 6 months I have noticed a mostly regular cycle. By cycle I don't mean a full period, which has disappeared. I have pcos so I didn't have a period a full year before getting the IUD. But the last 6 months I've noticed I get spotting & intense cramping for a few days when my period would be due & the exact day when I would supposedly ovulate.

My doctor assures me that the IUD is still in place & is perfectly fine, but I am still a bit concerned that it may not be fully working & I may be ovulating. I can't take opk to check due to pcos messing with my lh levels. Anyone else experience anything similar?
