Baby name argument, help!

So I’m going to hit 27 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend and I are finally discussing names. He’s dead set on naming our son after his uncle Gerald, I personally dislike the name 110%. I tried to compromise and say that it can be his middle name but he won’t budge. I got raped almost 2 years ago by a man named Jareld and have a cousin who was a child molester with the same name. I don’t want our son to be a reminder about something terrible like that. Is it wrong that I’m completely against naming him Gerald? I feel terrible because now he doesn’t want to discuss names at all with me. I don’t know what to do at this point, I’m getting shut out... Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 💞
