When will be baby be able to sit up and hold his bottle? He only does it laying down. He’s 8 months old.

Mine is 14 months old and still doesn’t hold his cups up.🤷🏼‍♀️ I think he’s capable but just doesn’t. He takes his water from a weighted straw cup and milk from a sippy.

he's still a little bit young..maybe try him with a smaller bottle

My 8 months old can sit on his own, but he still has to be in his swing to hold his bottle. He just barely started figuring out how to hold it so it can be difficult for him to hold it up that high. Every baby is different. He’ll figure it out eventually :)
