Will my fake tan come off in the hot tub ?

- I’m going to a wedding and the night before I’m going to somewhere with a hot tub. I was planning on applying my fake tan tonight the day before I’m going to the hotel with the hot tub and then wash the top layer off tomorrow morning. Will I be okay getting in the hot tub the night before the wedding . Or will it go patchy or fade.

My other option is to apply it after I’ve been in the hot tub at the hotel but I don’t wanna get tan on the bed sheets
