There’s an equally just as high risk of getting listeria from fruits, veggies, and ice cream. Bet your doctor didn’t say anything about avoiding those as well though. 🙄

I eat sandwiches and hoagies all the time. I just get them toasted or heat them up on my own. I’ve eaten plenty without heating too. And have three healthy children and one on the way. I don’t see why one sandwich would hurt.

My dr states as long as deli meat is less then three days old and properly stored you’re fine. So when I crave a sandwich I go out and get it so I know it’s fresh.

I did it once and heated it up. Or during my last pregnancy I ate it during labor haha
