Is it necessary?

A couple of years ago I had unprotected sex with my then boyfriend... I didn’t get no STD or HIV I came back clean but I came back with bacterial vaginosis.. But every year that I went to get a Pap smear.. it kept coming back for the next FIVE YEARS!! So I kept getting antibiotics for it... So this year (back in June) when I went back to the doctor for a check up it cleared up (so no BV). They only said I had a yeast infection but I took my antibiotics for that so I feel fine now.. But within those five years that I had recurring BV I really didn’t have no symptoms like I didn’t smell like fish or anything so I thought I was fine until I went back for a check up.. And I got check for STD or HIV and I came back clean but I haven’t had sex within those five years I remained celibate.. So this year I am in a relationship and we’ve been dating for a while and things are getting serious! I don’t think we will have sex anytime soon but in the near future if we do... Should I tell him about my problem even though I might be clean? I don’t want him to think I have an STD because it’s not an STD.. so I don’t know how to explain it... 😕 So far I know I don’t have a yeast infection or BV... But I just got checked in June of this year.. Should I go get back checked to be 100%? Before we have end up having sex like in the near future?
