Has anyone had to take misoprostol?

I have been in tears all day. But I can't seem to expel this pregnancy naturally. Been cramping the day before yesterday, fine yesterday and starting again but no bleeding. I don't want a d&c and hope it doesn't come to that. I just need to know how long will it take and what do I need to do. My doctor didn't even discuss this method. Only naturally and abort and I really wasn't thinking at the time to bring it up. #waiting

My baby stopped growing at 6w. I was officially 11w when I let go, had my last US and saw no growth. I took the medicine and am on day six. The bleeding didn’t start until the second day of the medicine, & it was horrible. I would only bleed when I was cramping “felt like mini contractions”. The first time you bleed is bad as you clot and feel balls “tissue” being pushed out.  This lasted from 10 pm till morning the following day. Once I passed the majority of tissue, my bleeding has lightened but has been steady. Physically, it wasn’t as bad as I thought but I’ve had good pain meds. The emotions have been the worst part for me. But you’re not to late as women take this being in week 20! Just do what’s best for you & remember there is no right/wrong decision or one way that’s easier. Stay strong ✨

In between your gums? I’m not sure I understand. My prescription was to take 2 pills orally every 6 hours for one day. I can’t recall the mg off top of my head.

I am not understanding why this is not working for me or maybe the doctor doesn't know what she is doing. I went back to the doctor Wednesday  and she only prescribed 200mg this time. Same instructions to put between my gums. Nothing but chalky taste and a small amount of brown clot and discharge. I didn't even need the pain meds. Couldn't call yesterday because of the hurricane and my next appointment is monday. Idk what to do but I really do know I don't want that d&c. I really hope that maybe that was all or it will pass the weekend. I can't even grieve properly because technically I am still pregnant and I am still talking to the baby as if it is alive in there even though I know it is not

I’ve had 2 miscarriages and each time, my Dr asks which method would I prefer (D&C, Misoprositol, or pass it naturally). She recommend the Misoprositol,l (b/c it’s less invasive than the D&C, and you don’t have to linger in pain if passing naturally)
I took it for both of my MCs. The first time, I was around 5 weeks, and it passed within a day or 2 with little to no pain. This second time around (a week ago) I was 8 weeks, and the pain was intense (w/o the Misoprositol). After taking it (in conjunction with Tramodol) it wasn’t as painful. Dr. told me to take the pills, and rest.
