Has anyone gotten a BFN at 10 DPO but go on to have a BFP a few days later?

Wanting to see how common it is since I just got a BFN at 10 DPO. Trying to still be hopeful.

Alot have. That's early to test. Any testing before your missed period is too early to test, here's why. The reason you're supposed to wait is for your missed period isn't bc of your period at all really. Implantation occurs 6 to 12 days after ovulation (if you track and know exactly when it happens) after implanting it takes 2 or more days for enough hcg to produce to show on a test. Examples: if you implant on 6dpo, you're the rare lucky few that get a positive 8 or 9dpo. If you implant on 7dpo, positive on 9 or 10dpo. If you implant on 10dpo, you won't get a positive until 12 or 13 dpo. The last day of implanting is 12dpo, so you don't get a positive until 14 or 15dpo. The most common implant day is 9dpo, resulting in a positive test on 11 or 12dpo. Usually when your period is due or after. So waiting is best so it gives hcg time to build up. Also not getting disappointed for no reason or testing for no reason if af shows.

Yes yesss I lost all hope got a faint faint faint at 12 dpo and that was with 1st response early ones I didn't Believe when people told me they didn't get one until that later but it happened me it totally can happen 🤞🤞 for you xx
