14 weeks and still bleeding...

I had a c section over 3 months ago and I am still having vaginal bleeding. My incision just recently closed after months of bad smelling discharge and bleeding from the incision site. My doctor refused to do anything about it even though it was red, swollen and obviously infected. Long story short, I haven’t stopped bleeding since the c section. I had my IUD placed at about 8 weeks post partum so when the bleeding didn’t stop I wasn’t totally concerned because I know iud placement can cause some bleeding too. But it’s been like period type bleeding non stop since birth and small amounts of clotting still... I’m over it. I called my doctor and he prescribed me ibuprofen...😑....for the bleeding...I just feel like he should be more concerned that there might be an underlying issue. Has anyone else bled THIS long after c section? Should I switch doctors? I’m just worried because I’ve heard stories about persistent bleeding being caused by part of the placenta being left behind or other serious complications.
