Subchorionic Hematoma?

Question

Went in for a follow up ultrasound today (8+1). Baby looked great, heart beat 178. After the doctor talked to us about a suchorionic hematoma? Our midwife made it sound like it wasn’t a big deal and we’d check it at my 12 week ultrasound. Then I searched online and it seems like a much bigger deal? We’ve had three losses this year and I’m just trying to be realistic. Anyone had this before?

I had a bleed at 11 weeks and had an emergency scan when they told me I had a heamatoma. I continued to have small bleeds and then it wasn’t even mentioned at my 20 scan and the bleeding stopped. I’m now 35 weeks and praying for the safe arrival of my little girl. Good luck x

I had this with my first pregnancy and it was a bit scary. I had spotting throughout the first trimester and then a large bleed and clot around 10 weeks. Baby was fine and the subchorionic hematoma resolved itself in the second trimester. I delivered a healthy baby girl at 38 weeks. 
I have another subchorionic hematoma again with this pregnancy. My doctors and midwives recommend moderated bed rest, pelvic rest, no heavy lifting and staying very hydrated until it’s resolved, but this all depends on the size of the hematoma.
