BLW v. Purées

How have you decided to do one over the other??

My girl is almost 6 months so we’re approaching the food mark. She’s extremely smart. Crawling already, pulling up to stand up, etc. she can easily pick up her toys and has a good pincer grasp already. So I know physically she can handle BLW (plus it would be easier as I can prepare her one part of our dinners in her own way). But I’m just nervous because I know there can be a higher chance of choking/gagging. But if you do purées, how long do you wait until you start introducing non puréed food??

In any case I’ll be preparing all of her own food, I won’t be using baby cereals, and possibly be trying the once upon a farm brand for when we go out.

So how did they go for you? Any advice? Pros/cons?
