Rose 🌹 what does this mean?

So when boyfriend txts me or I txt him something about my feelings or sometimes he txts random he sends a Rose 🌹 emoji but he’s never given me roses in person and isn’t very romantic or affectionate. He will hug 🤗 in person tho and we are intimate as in sex.

Been together 9 months and work kinda close together.

What does it mean? Like I just txted him I can’t wait to have this over with and raise my kids alone like before and he just txted back a Rose 🌹! I’m going thru a custody battle with abusive ex. What do I txt back? Before I just txted back smile 😊 face lol.
