Can animals sense pregnancy before you can?

Some people say they know their animals sensed their pregnancy before they did.

Well my cat NEVER makes biscuits on me. She NEVER Sits on me, only next to me. Tonight she jumped up on me, started to make biscuits on my upper thigh/lower stomach. Then she laid down on me and is resting her head right by my pelvis. She’s sleeping and purring. Lately she wants to be near me more.

Do you think she can sense I’m pregnant? I’m about 11 DPO and I usually have longer cycles so I wait until 16DPO to start testing.
