What kind of dog to get when you have a cat?

Hi! My fiancé and I are hoping to get a dog in the next few years. We have a 2 year old, she’ll probably be around four or five when we get the dog. We also have a four year old Siamese, so we’re not sure how this is going to work. Overall our Siamese is a cuddly goofball, but has gotten territorial seeing stray cats outside. We are looking for a dog that’s good with other animals, kids, and loyal. Thanks in advance!
