Update! What wrong with my c-section scar?

(Tried to crop the picture to my best ability so no vajayjay) I'm 6 weeks pp last week I noticed this little white spot and thought it was puss (gross) so I washed it with the special soap from the hospital and just kept an eye on it. It hasn't gone away and its leveling out with the scar. I picked at it and it chipped like paint! WTF?! Should I call my OB Monday? What the hell chips like that? It's hard too!

Note: I should mention when poked it stings like hell and my jeans hurt it too. Really any presser around in hurts like heck.

Update, learned that it's just an internal stitch and sometimes they can make their way out. Once it's out just need to make sure that it doesn't infected!

Stop picking at before you make it worse. Just let it heal... you will be just fine. I've had 6 C-sections and mine all healed great.

I had something like that post knee surgery. I assumed it was one of the dissolving stitches sticking out. It stayed that way for a month or two. Eventually it just went away and there was nothing left. If you’re really worried just call your doc?

It appears like a small part of it still healing, at least my surgery scars from an appendectomy and from other keyhole surgery looked like this nearing the end of its healing stage. It was also sensitive, painful. But if you’re concerned, it could be worth a visit to the GP. Everyone’s body is different, so go with what your body tells you to do.
