Boyfriend didn’t come home after work...

So my boyfriend didn’t come home after work this morning and when he did he proposed... but i ruined it. completely. without a doubt. and not intentionally either. He did this puppy dog facial expression and it made me laugh. and i was super nervous because this was sooo unexpected. turns out i embarrassed him (luckily it wasn’t in front of anyone) but i didn’t mean to. and he didn’t ask the question he just kinda showed the ring to me. we are very awkward people and have a weird relationship so i thought it would blow away in the wind but apparently it’s a really big problem and i ruined everything. idk what to do. i tried explaining to him why i did that but he still said i embarrassed him and i’m guessing nothing can make up for it. this is supposed to be the moment every girl hopes and dreams for but i ruined it. idk what to do. he had told someone he was gonna do it and they want him to tell him how it went and he’s very truthful so now i’m gonna be embarrassed forever 😭 of course i said yes but idk how to fix this.
