Tongue split who’s got one??!!

Really want one but looking for recommendations and I’ve seen quite a few people who have regular tongue piercing and split it themselves which take about 14-15days to heal way less pain than regular process and obviously more cost effective but curious if I should just stick with getting it done or try the tongue piercing self split?? Any info would be great thanks!!

I would personally never do it but if you want it , go for it ! But do NOT try doing it yourself, holy shit. This risk for infection or doing it wrong you could literally bleed out. Please don’t be dumb 🤦🏽‍♀️

Make sure you go to someone experienced with this modification! Do lots of research on picking an artist. It's an extreme mod, not something to be taken lightly and having it reversed is 10x worse, or so I've heard. And for the love of all things holy, don't do it yourself with a stretched tongue piercing. This is something that if you do it incorrectly, it could easily kill you.

DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. The piercing split method is not safe. At all. In the slightest. Go to a professional. Spend the money for it to be done correctly. Also, it can be reversed if necessary in the future. Just not recommended because it is much more painful.

DO NOT absolutely NOT do it yourself!!! You could die of a blood infection or do horrible damage. People are professionals for a reason. This is a difficult procedure that should be done by a licensed professional in a sterile environment with proper tools and requires stitches and long healing time and a lot of the time requires resplitting because as it heals it can close together in spots. PLEASE find a professional near you to discuss this process with.
