A stable supportive family unit is most important. What that “family” looks like is immaterial. Could be a single parent. Could be two co-parents who are no longer involved romantically. Could be a cis/het or lgbtqia+ couple or triad etc. 
What’s important is stability and support for the child.

And because of that moms are more important?-.- If so then quit being bitter because you reproduced with a shitty man. Not all fathers are bad just because of your negative experience. Also my response still stands, no I’m not so pretentious to believe I’m more important than my husband because I have a vagina. My partner and I are equally important to our children’s life. He’s helped so much with both despite the fact that he works 12 hour night shifts. He provides just as equally as I do. I would be so lost without him.
