If he told you he “couldn’t do it”

* I’m in no way body shaming*

So let’s say you’re in a relationship for 3 years and he’s always “joked” around saying he couldn’t be with a person bigger than him. So now we have a kid together, hello baby weight, and a year post partum you really haven’t lost any baby weight. We sit down have a talk and the baby weight is a “problem because I don’t see you try” and so a month later we bring the topic up again because he says something about someone being “too big” and I said “what happens if I get ‘too big’” and he said “I couldn’t do it” “I just want to see you try”

How are you taking this?

It’s like alright dude I’m gonna work out while you sit your ass playing your stupid game and when I get the body you like you’re gonna regret it cause I’ll make you feel like shit

I don’t feel like I’m “fat” or “too big” I just know when he looks at me it isn’t the way it used to be.

That’s me before baby and 13 months pp
