I ran my first 5k Saturday!

I just had to share...after losing 65lbs and watching my diet, I ran my first 5k Saturday! I’ve been working really hard to better myself and I’m so happy to have reached this milestone. I’m working on 10k distance now and hope to do a half marathon next year sometime. We will see...take it as it comes I suppose. Steady improvement is my goal and I’m so glad to be running again! Cheers!
