Met my midwife! 😍

We interviewed a midwife yesterday and she was wonderful! She made us feel totally at ease, and I have no fears about giving birth outside a hospital. The birthing center was great, so cozy, and they just got their own ultrasound machine, so I don’t have to go to a different doctor to see my baby in a few weeks! 😍

I was nervous my parents would disapprove of my choice (they’re a doctor and a nurse) but my mom was really supportive! I got to pick her brain about her experiences giving birth and she really set my mind at ease. She had super easy pregnancies, and only had c-sections because she was tiny and we were big babies, everyone was stressed and exhausted. I don’t have my mom’s frame (the midwife complimented my hips 😄) so I feel much more confident now that I’m a good candidate for natural birth.

Anyone else going the midwife route?
