Has your boyfriend ever made you upset?

I am a makeup lover. I love it for the art form and how i can express myself through it. My boyfriend has known that since we have started dating almost 4 years ago.

But he has recently will point out when I wear makeup. It makes me upset because he will say “what’s up with all that makeup?” Or he will tell me why I am wearing it. I rarely wear it around him unless we are going out. I’m upset because I do it for me not for him. I tell him that all the time. But it’s just like no matter what he feels the need to point it out. I hate it. Have anyone else experienced this? And how did you handle it?
