Do you believe all people should have a “Right to Die”? (Possible trigger warning)

I definitely believe those who are terminally ill should have the choice to continue treatment or choose to stop their suffering altogether, but do you think it should go further than those who are suffering from an illness of such? Should this be an option for those who want to end it for reasons other than this?

This topic came up in my college debate class, and some were all for it as they were saying you should have the right to do what you please with your life and to end it peacefully and openly rather than with suicide, and others were very against it saying it was definitely something that should be reserved for the terminally ill as there were better options available for those who arent. It was interesting to hear what everyone had to say, and I’d love your insight as well.
