Russell and Meghan ❤️

In July, my husband and I adopted Russell (6 month black and brown hound mix) from a local shelter. He is so sweet and cute. While at the shelter, I noticed Meghan (8 month black and white collie mix) through the fence. My husband and I weren’t sure about getting two dogs since we had just moved from a different state. So we just left with Russell. Russell was the best puppy. He is super smart, cuddly, and playful. You can’t help but love his sweet personality. But he is very social and requires constant attention. While getting settled in our new home with our new puppy, I kept looking at Petfinder and the local shelter’s Facebook page to check on Meghan. After a month of loving this sweet boy, my husband and I decided that we would get a second dog and I had the perfect one in mind. When I went to pick her up, Meghan stuck by my side the whole time. She refused to leave me even when we got home. As soon as Russell saw her, he immediately got so excited and grabbed all his toys to show her. In a matter of hours, these two became inseparable. They sleep, eat, and play together. If one is in another room, the other becomes frantic until they find the other. They have made moving so far away from our family 1000x better. They have my whole heart. ❤️
