Am I the only one?

So I am pregnant with number 2, I have a 2 year old son. This pregnancy has been amazing compared to my pregnancy with him but I see everyone posting about how done they are and I’m just over here enjoying my last couple of weeks pregnant actually hoping my baby stays in a bit longer. 😂 I’m excited to see my baby but I’m enjoying the last few days of feeling him or her wiggle in my tummy and enjoying being able to give my son all of my attention because I know everything is going to change soon.

Pregnant with baby number 2 and have a 2 year old, yes I agreee everyone is ready to have their little one and I’m like I can wait until she’s ready so I can stop working and have a little one on one time with my 2 year old, is it weird I’m feeling guilty of having to share her attention and love?? Last day of work is Friday, then 2 weeks until due date!

Such a mix of emotions.   Ready to see the baby and hold him in my arms.  Soaking up every moment with my toddler, cherishing every snuggle and hug and book we read together.  Ready to see the brothers together, but sad to have our simple life as a family of three altered.

I have very mixed emotions right now. I'm getting towards extreme amounts of pain and I'm still working 40+ hours a week. I cannot wait to not have to work any more, and I'm super ready to be done with heartburn and emotional rollercoaster, and feeling like I have to be constantly cleaning. Buuuut, my first kid was born 13 years ago, after being on bed rest with preeclamsia for 3 months and being in awful pain that whole time. I didnt get to really enjoy the last bit of that pregnancy because I was so miserable, and I've always regretted not spending more time enjoying feeling all the movements and such. So I'm soaking up all the rolls and punches and scratching (lets be honest it still hurts!) while also really looking forward to giving birth and not working for a little bit while I get to know my newest addition.

I have a year and a half old son who is so busy. I have a full time job and when I get home I try to play with him and soak up one on one time, but I’m just so exhausted. I just want to have this baby so that I can be a good mom again. I feel like I am letting him down right now. He sticks by his Dad lately because mom is no fun. 😞
